HollywoodNews.com – Lady Gaga is going to be the next big name in line to get a wax statue at Madame Tussauds in order to immortalize the outrageous popstar.

The eccentric singer will have her wax figure debuted at the New York Madame Tussauds location, while various other locations will contain wax figures of Gaga as well, reports PopEater. In order to make multiple Gagas happen, the museum will be spending a reported $1.5 million on the endeavor.

It has not yet been revealed which other locations the other Gagas will appear at, but Madame Tussauds now has locations at Amsterdam, Bangkok, Berlin, Hollywood, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, London, New York, Shanghai and Washington, D.C

Singer Britney Spears was asked about a possible collaboration with Lady Gaga in a recent interview with Pop magazine:

“I’m a big fan of hers. Anything’s possible!”

In 2008, Lady Gaga wrote a song called “Quicksand” for Spears’s sixth studio album Circus. She said:

“Britney is a nice girl – I just feel very honoured that she wanted to sing my song. I used to scream for her in Times Square and now I work for her. When I was 13 she was the most provocative performer of my time. I love her so much!”

The pop stars met backstage at Lady Gaga’s “Monster Ball” in L.A. earlier this month.

After dethroning President Obama last month to become the most popular living person on Facebook, Lady Gaga has now edged Britney Spears as the most-followed person on Twitter.

As of late Friday evening, Gaga boasted at least 5,677,803 followers on the microblogging service, compared to Spears’ 5,671,738. Hours earlier, social media stats firm Famecount.com had projected the “Alejandro” singer to topple Spears’ reign of Twitter dominance.

Gaga is currently at 5,681,704 followers and counting on Twitter.

Billboard – Live Nation Entertainment’s global touring division, headed by chairman Arthur Fogel, holds the reins as promoter/producer of the Monster Ball tour. The pairing makes sense, given the team’s expertise in producing international runs by U2 and Madonna, and considering Lady Gaga’s love of spectacular staging and production.

Was Gaga’s lack of mega-tour experience going into the Monster Ball a challenge? “It’s an opportunity,” explained Fogel to Billboard in May. “As an artist with that kind of talent and vision emerges, it creates a lot of excitement, and ticket sales worldwide demonstrate that people are really excited to see the show.

“Over the course of the next many months we’re trying to play to as many people in as many places as possible,” he added. “It’s an across the board home run.”

By the time she wraps Monster Ball, Gaga will have grossed close to $200 million worldwide, according to Billboard estimates, and the tour will certainly stand out as one of the brightest feathers in her well-decorated hat. But there have already been plenty of highlights — both heartwarming and controversial — along the way.
